Terms & Conditions
• Incentive is based on gas input ($10/thousand British Thermal Units per Hour)
• Must be a new or existing commercial gas customer of Hawaiʻi Gas.
• New gas equipment must replace the same type of non-gas equipment and receive gas service under Hawaiʻi Gas's qualifying rate schedules.
• New gas water heating equipment must be the sole source of hot water.
• Installation must be completed within two months after application is accepted.
• Rebate amount will depend on BTU rating and use of newly installed gas equipment.
• Rebate credit will be issued within 60 days upon receipt of approved application.
• Rebate credit will be issued to the party/company responsible for paying the gas bill noted in Hawaiʻi Gas’s billing system at the time the credit is issued.
• Program may not be combined with any other offer.
• Hawaiʻi Gas reserves the right to discontinue the Commercial Switch To Gas Program at any time.
• Hawaiʻi Gas is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
